The success of our Rig-Release™ Remote Releasing Hook has led us to many new applications. Users of the Rig-Release™ have come to us with specific needs that helped us develop the following additional options.

Option 1 - Upward Pull

For applications when the hook is below the operator and an upward pull of the rope lanyard is required. This option makes Caldwell’s Rig-Release™ an even more versatile tool. Available only on manual release units.

The economical Univac® 250 Power Pac is a simplified design that keeps the overall unit weight and cost to a minimum while still providing you with the high quality Caldwell design you have come to expect.  The slide valve vacuum lever is easy to operate and is located on the handle within easy reach of the operator.  The vacuum gauge is easy to read and an optional low vacuum indicator can provide an audible warning to the operator.

For all precast concrete pipe producers and storage yards...our lifter can help you move your concrete pipe up to 3 times faster than with a standard fork truck.

Models to handle 12", 15", 18", or 21" ASTM C76 Bell and Spigot pipes with A or B wall thickness. Lift 4 - 5 - 6 pipes at a time, increasing efficiency - saving both time & money.

Each lifter has replaceable rubber bumpers to protect the pipe from damage. All fork pockets are open for easy cleaning and water drainage.

Simple and fast
• No need to reach inside the pipe
• Worker remains above the pipe at all times
• Conforms to applicable standards so you are in compliance with OSHA

Simply insert the Pipe Pick™ into the lifting hole in the pipe—tilt—to engage the beveled edge—and lift up! You can now lift and set the pipe. Once the pipe is set, lower the Pipe Pick™; the counterweighted lift arm automatically falls straight and the Pipe Pick™ can be removed from the pipe.

The Posi-Lite™ is perfect for metal fabrication, die handling, welding or packaging. It will easily handle any item 1,500 pounds or less that needs to be rotated during assembly, inspection, repair, or packaging.

The standard Posi-Lite™ is available with a fixed lifting eye, non slip drum surface, direct drive gear reducer and is torque rated for capacity. As with our Posi-Turner® a leveling option is also available for handling unbalanced loads. A variety of options are available to fit your specific application.

We are pleased to introduce our standard 4 point lifting beam designed to easily handle 36" and 48" flexible intermediate bulk containers with four loops on the top.

Users can quickly attach loops to the lifting arms of the beam and move bulk containers for storage, shipping or emptying.

The oversized lifting eye is designed to accommodate almost any lifting hook and the beam will handle up to a 4" wide container loop.

The new Strong-Bac® Plate Lifter is an economical solution when loading or unloading large, bulky plates from trucks, stock, or flame-cut tables.

This lifter has a three-hook configuration to allow for faster and easier adjustment and handling of the plate. Available in 5 or 10 ton capacities and, as with all Caldwell lifters, conforms to ASME standards.

The Model 36L-3.5 Battery Lifting Beam offers the ability to quickly and easily change truck batteries without the headroom requirements of our standard battery lifting beam.

The low profile design beam has headroom dimension of 18.3” and a 24” – 45” spread adjustment range for maximum flexibility. The Model 36L-3.5 has a rated capacity of 7,000 pounds, and is designed with acid-resistant, coated polyester straps and hooks: available with either swivel or j-hook style.
