Responsibilities and Duties

Puts completed parts onto appropriate shelves and adds details into inventory totals.

Affixes tags and decals to product
-
Completes engraving operating
-
Adds hardware to shipments
-
Builds crates and/or palletizes shipments
-
Matches shipping paperwork with product and loads trucks

May complete some small assembly

Complies with all safety requirements
Qualifications and Skills
-
High School diploma or equivalent
-
One year forklift experience
-
One year experience operating an overhead crane
-
One year shipping experience in an computerized manufacturing environment

Proven ability to read a tape measure
-
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints

Ability to problem-solve

Strong self-initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Computer proficiency sufficient to enter data and create shipping documents
Physical Requirements
Employee is continuously required to stand; frequently required to walk and use repetitive hand/wrist motion; occasionally required to twist/turn, stoop/bend, push/pull, squat, reach overhead and use forearm rotation. Employee must also be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Vision corrected to near 20/20 required.
