Job Description

  • Puts completed product into appropriate bin locations and enters information to add them into inventory totals
  • Affixes tags and decals to product according to work instructions and/or tagging standards
  • Adds appropriate hardware to shipments
  • Applies touch-up paint to areas that may have become scuffed during material handling operations
  • Builds crates and skids to package product for shipment.
  • Packages and/or palletizes shipments to protect product from damage
  • Matches shipping paperwork with correct product and loads trucks
  • May perform small and final assembly operations
  • Reports defective tools and equipment to Lead
  • Complies with all safety requirements and maintains a safe work environment





  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year forklift operator experience
  • One year of experience operating an overhead crane
  • One year of shipping experience in a computerized manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proven ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Strong self-initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Computer proficiency sufficient to enter data into an ERP system and create shipping documents using a PC

Physical Requirements:
Continuously required to stand. Frequently required to walk and use repetitive hand/wrist motion. Occasionally required to twist/turn, stoop/bend, push/pull, squat, reach overhead and use forearm rotation. Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Vision corrected to near 20/20 required.
