Responsibilities:• Monitors specific PMR part classes and outside WCP reports to identify needs for materials, parts and outside services• Enters purchase orders (PO) based on various source documents originating from several departments. Issues POs using available technology and approved methods• Works in conjunction with INQC and Stockroom personnel to address incoming nonconforming goods and services and initiate the NCR process when appropriate• Quote incoming outside purchases using the work center priority report and attaches the quotes in jobs• Updates and maintains purchased parts in M1• Supports Sales team’s needs in quote inquiries for active purchased parts in M1. Utilizes M1 calls• Performs a two-way match between the receiving document and PO and enters results into the system for payment. Surfaces and works to resolve variances with the supplier, engaging the DMR process when appropriate• Demonstrates the Caldwell Company Values with the “Easy to Do Business With” initiative in all work activities• Complies with all safety rules and requirements Minimum Requirements:• BS/BA degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field or equivalent experience• 2-3 years’ experience as a buyer for purchased parts and raw materials, preferably in a manufacturing environment• PC proficiency including MS Office• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Proven ability to successfully organize and manage multiple tasks• Proven ability to meet deadlines• Strong detail orientation• Proven ability to read blueprints Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear.   • CNC Machinist

    Position Type: Full Time | On-Site: 4080 Logistics Pkwy, Rockford, IL CNC MACHINIST JOB DESCRIPTION This position is responsible for producing machined parts by setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. This position may also be responsible for setting up and operating manual machines at times. Programs CNC machines by entering instructions, setting work offsets and reference points, entering key tool data, tool offsets, compensation, and conditional adjustments; calculating requirements Proves parts programs by simulation or dry runs Uses MasterCam software to download posts to the machines When programming lathes, use Mazatrol, HAAS, or E-Z Guide software conversationally on the machine tools Sets up CNC machines with long running parts for operators; Communicates with operators on how to change out parts after 1st piece inspection is completed; Provides operators with key dimensions to inspect, inserts or tools to be replaced, and other comp dimensions that may be needed to modify Sets-up CNC machines by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, vises, fixtures, tie downs, attachments, collets and stops.     Position Type: Full Time Job Duties: Unloads laser tables and puts parts away in designated areas. Performs quality checks on all parts and fills out QC sheet while unloading table. Coordinates with material handling to ensure parts are being stored correctly and old parts are removed as needed.
