  • Model 80H

It's all about the pivoting wedge on this unit. By maneuvering that wedge in between two stacked coils, an operator can separate them and begin a tilt, allowing the rest of the hook to slide in and do its job.

  • Model 82

With capacities from 5 to 50 tons, this C-hook is built to perform. A mill favorite, the standard design shows up and does the work every day. Need customizations like padding for coil protection, other capacities, or something else? Call 800.628.4263 to talk about your application.

  • Model 82LA

Efficiency matters. And when you can move more than one slit coil at a time, crane operators save time and, therefore, money. Set them up for success with Caldwell's Model 82LA.

  • Model 82NC

Available in capacities from 1/2 ton to 5 tons. Choose a narrow hook to handle narrow coils with less coil edge damage than web slings. Unit will not hang level when empty.

  • Model 82RC

When space is tight and the loads are heavy, this is the hook for the job. Based off Caldwell's best-selling Model 82, the Model 82RC features a recessed counterweight that allows you to stack coils closer together, making the most of the space you have available.

  • Model 83E

    Ergonomic Vertical Eye Coil Lifter

  • Model 83EW

Vertical coil lifting presents unique challenges, but the Caldwell Model 83EW is ready to conquer. Simply insert the unit in the I.D. of the coil {stored on spacers, of course), placing the feet under the coil itself. The lifter legs automatically adjust to the walls of the coil I.D. so a safe lift can proceed.

  • Model 83HW

Simple hand wheel operation adjusts legs to the appropriate I.D. for engagement and disengagement. Stock units available with capacities of 2-1/2 to 10 tons. Need something bigger or smaller? Call 800.628.4263 to talk to our Customer Service team to discuss options.

  • Model 84

Choose Hand Wheel Leg Drive or Motorized Leg Drive.

  • Model 85

If there was a Caldwell Lifting Solutions Hall of Fame, the Model 85 Coil Lifter could claim “Legend” status. The rugged and efficient stock units sold here are ready to handle up to 33 tons, but that’s just the beginning. The Model 85 is also one of our most customized lifters. Higher capacities, rotation, load scales, indicator lights, padding, toe rollers, and more are available. See the following pages for details.

  • Model 85R

What happens when you take a legendary lifter and add rotation? A star is born! Caldwell's Model 85R is an industry favorite, in use in manufacturing facilities all over the world. And if you work in paper mills, steel mills or other severe-duty environments, our Mill Duty line, built for extreme temperatures, higher capacities, and higher load cycles, is ready to do the work. Call for info.

  • Model 86

New and improved design makes this versatile lifter a great option for coil lifts where aisle space is tight. Plus, it's much more adjustable to provide simple, affordable, efficient lifts for a variety of coil sizes.

  • Model 88

Low-Platform Roll Upender/Downender allows rolls to be repositioned by 90° rotation. The low-platform is desirable in those applications where headroom is restricted. Hydraulic controls are standard.

  • Model 88L

Make life a little easier for operators with this low-platform design. With the Model 88L, they have better access to coils.

  • Model PS-CH

Model PS-CH is used to store all C-Hook type lifters (Models: 82, 82LA, 82RC).

  • Model PS-M-TS

Model PS-M-TS is for storage and maintenance of two-sided lifters. Personnel platforms provide ease of access to drive system for maintenance and inspection of motorized units.

  • Model PS-TS

Model PS-TS is for storage of two-sided coil lifters (Models: 84, 85, 86).

Coil lifters and upenders help users move and maneuver coils. Use the Dixon coil hook with its pivoting wedge for small, lightweight coils. Heavy-duty C-hooks handle larger loads while slit coil C-hooks tackle multiple slit coils to maximize efficiency. Close-stacking hooks and vertical eye coil lifters help you move a wide range of coil widths and offer vertical stacking.
